Using Google Analytics for Stats

Google provides a free tracking tool called Analytics that you can use to monitor and get stats on the traffic that comes to your website. This video is how to set up a Google Analytics account so you can add the code on your website in order to get these stats. The video shows you where to add the google analytics code so it can work. The code needs to be added on every page.

If you have a wordpress blog this process is made easier using the Google Analytics Plugin. If you have a Joomla site then you may want to use the equivalent Joomla Analytics Plugin. Instead of using the actual code as you do with a website, simply enter the id number Google gives you for the site and the plugin does the rest.
