In this update to the beginners series you will learn how to update calculations linked to a table of data as new data is added to the table. The tutorial covers manual and automatic updating. The video is produced with Excel 2000 and is applicable to all versions of Excel up to XP (2003).
This is so helpful. Brushing up for a “situational” computer test — phase two of a job interview. I’m a Mac user and can’t find “options” under “tools” in menu bar. (Using 2004).
Very impressed by these videos. I just watched and wrote down notes for all of them during my 8 hour work day. I had little to do at work and needed to brush up on my excel skills, which I had little of. Very, very helpful, nice and slow. Great job, thank you!
With your reminder to save frequently and use of ‘undo’ as well as the delete key I’m a Mac user following your videos with little need to pause and rewind – thank you again.
Yeah no worries… You turn the Rental column Avereage, Min & Max into monetry values.
Prior to you draging the calculation across the values are counts.
No biggy but just looks strange after thats all.
Still great videos though… very helpfull
Thank you. Now, I can actually say that I know how to use Excel. I have an interview tomorrow, and these tutorials helped me to refresh my memory and I have learned many new things. I can always refer back to this for future help. Thanks again, you know this was very appreciated.
